What we do
Algorine Research is a research lab spun out of MIT in 2015 to advance AI, machine learning, and optimization research — and to turn that research into organizations.
Early work spanned guaranteed global optimization for photonics, routing, solar and wind. The lab then pioneered NLP for African languages, building the world’s first machine translation, speech recognition, and text-to-speech systems for languages including Twi, Ga, Gurene, Dagbani, Kikuyu, Kimeru, and Luo.
